201. C.1952 [receipt dated 1956], Lux Clock Mfg, Waterbury "Claridge" alarm clock with original box plus guarantee & instruction pamphlet. Has seen little service, and has never been cleaned; alarms loudly; time ticks and stops; great for a 50's buff; ht 4.75" $10

202. C.1950, Lux "Rotary Clock", NEW in original box, ivory color. No evidence of this clock having ever been wound or used; still with factory label "Rotary Clock -- The Modern Clock Without Hands" There is very minor abrasion along the bottom edge, where simple movement in the box has worn the paint. Box with some stains & fading, but this is the NICEST one of these I have ever seen; diam = 5" $25

203. C.1848, J. J. Beals & Co, Haymarket [with an original overpaste strip covering J. J. & W. Beals] at the junction of Blackstone and Union Streets. Label is generally good, but missing a 2" strip along the left side. Brass mov't type 5.412 [Jerome Pat]. Wooden dial has been overpainted with aluminum paint and needs proper restoration. The case & veneer are good; the shellac has been wire wooled off and needs a little finish; height 25" $80

204. C.1835, Ephraim Downs, Bristol, Conn, stenciled columns & splat, with gold & silver stenciling. The pattern is virtually all rubbed off the columns, but the splat is still quite bright. The case has been gently cleaned with cotton cleanser. Note the interesting lyre and leaf pattern on the splat. Original dial with floral corners is excellent, as is the label. No weights for this clock [available from suppliers]; ht 31" $80

205. C.1890, Ansonia "Jumper No. 3" [Rarest Model], as-found. The movement [original & correct] needs cleaning, and the wire going from the spring stop to the verge has fallen off, and missing. The doll is not original, but is a decent European bisque doll and has a good look -- Germanic costume. The dolls legs have been broken and reglued, and she weighs about the right amount for the job. The paper dial is original and excellent, though slightly tanned. The brass case has some corrosion; nickel is absent from the rear casting. Ht 15" This is a $2000 clock if perfect; we've left room for restoration with our minimum bid of $900
