To the New England Clock Collector:
In an effort to serve the dealer who is active in providing entry level antique clocks via Co-op sales or eBay, we are offering a large selection of as-found clocks to assist you in building your inventory.
These will be sold in Salem, New Hampshire, Saturday, May 24, 2008, beginning at 12 noon, until 3pm. You must be present to bid. There are NO left bids nor telephone, nor internet bids available for this Salem auction. This will be at the Elks Hall on Rte 111 in Salem, exit 3 off I-93 and travel East, Hall is on your left, shortly after you cross Rte 28.
In our catalog last year we announced that we hoped to schedule this auction prior to the Blackwell auction in April, but time and logistics kept getting in our way and we settled on the May date. Although May 31 is a week after, the week-end of May 24 is Memorial Weekend [observed]; some guys are happy, others frustrated with this date.
If you ordered an April color catalog, you will receive the listing for this May sale automatically.
Otherwise the list will be on the internet, after April 26, and you will be able to print it out with any kind of printer.
So far the response to this event has been enthusiastic.
